This was as assignment to create an opening title sequence. I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the stop motion clips I made with my phone.
Initially, everybody believed that Naranjino had escaped from the kitchen fruit basket. But it was then discovered that mom's artificial orange tree in the living room grew real oranges, once in a full moon... And this is where this adventurous little orange came from. He has continued to charm the whole family with his citrusy personality, and eluded being eaten by those whose hearts he's touched.
This is a stop motion video I made to experiment with stop motion. I sculpted the character with polymer clay.
La Llorona drowned her children in the river in the midst of of an emotional breakdown. She was afraid that she wouldn't be able to care for them on her own after her husband left her. When she died, God told her that she couldn't get into heaven until she found her children and brought them back with her. Legend says that she still searches for them to this day and that the people of her village hear her cries at night. Aaaay mis hijos!
